VIETNAM, 25 March 2022 – Validus, Southeast Asia’s leading SME growth financing platform, today announced the appointment of Đinh Văn Bình as CEO of Validus in Vietnam.
Bình is responsible for overseeing and driving the execution of our business strategy and operations, including driving the growth and expansion of Validus in Vietnam. He is a seasoned financial services professional who brings nearly two decades of deep experience in SME Banking, Commercial Banking and Asset Management with Techcombank and Sacombank.

Biography
Đinh Văn Bình is a seasoned financial services professional with nearly two decades of deep experience in SME Banking, Commercial Banking and Asset Management with Techcombank and Sacombank.
Prior to joining Validus, Binh was a key member of Techcombank, the largest joint stock bank in Vietnam. Binh was part of Techcombank’s Business Banking leadership team with his most recent role being Senior Director & Country Head, Partnerships. Binh joined Techcombank in 2010 and held various positions focusing on Supply Chain Finance, Digital Lending, Sales and Relationship Management, Partnerships and Risk Management.
Prior to this role, Binh was part of Sacombank and held various positions including Branch Director, CEO & Deputy CEO at certain subsidiaries and Executive Vice Chairman at Sacombank Investment Corporation.
Binh has always maintained a keen interest in the Startup and Fintech space. As a mentor and consultant, Binh has supported certain startups from South East Asia and Finland to access the Vietnam market on a pro bono basis.
