Who we are looking for

Validus is in an exciting growth phase, and as we execute on our strategy, we’re building a strong team of capable, driven individuals who are passionate about making it easier for SMEs to manage and grow their businesses. This role reports to the Head of Marketing for Validus Group, and the candidate is responsible for marketing communications, social media, and content marketing.


· Brainstorm, conceptualize, and execute omnichannel marketing communication campaigns to drive awareness and demand for our products and services

· Copywriting: Write concise, creative and effective copy for different channels and mediums (both digital and offline)

· Develop and write content to drive leads and engagement across customer journey. This may include but is not limited to ad creatives, website, campaign landing pages, social media, emails, newsletters, videos, customer stories and marketing collaterals.

· Manage freelance writers whenever required, to develop blog articles and content for owned channels and other communities

· Manage agencies and freelance designers to develop the creative assets such as graphics, brochures and videos; basic Adobe Creative Suite skills are required

· Create marketing campaign landing pages in WordPress using ‘drag and drop builder’ plugin (Elementor), and create email campaign layouts using ‘drag and drop builder’ in email marketing CRM

· Plan, own and manage content marketing and social media editorial calendars

· Source for vendors and manage the production of printed marketing collaterals and corporate marketing gifts

· Research and analyse competitive environment, content trends and gaps, and proactively propose improvements to improve marketing communications and content

· Use data-driven marketing approach for evidence-based decision making, such as A/B tests, research and analysis to support content strategy

· Support other marketing activities when necessary, according to organisational needs


· Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Media, Mass Communications, Design, Business Marketing or related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (for Senior Executive role) in marketing communications and content campaign management and execution.

· Fresh graduates may apply for entry-level Executive role with proof of relevant internship experience, portfolio and recommendation letter

· Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential. You must have a passion for the written word and be able to write clear, concise and grammatically correct copy, and wordsmith according to the target audience.

· Basic Adobe Creative Suite skills and a strong sense of visual design. Ability to deliver clear creative briefs to designers and brief changes to get a desired design outcome that is aligned with brand standards.

· Hands-on experience with social media management, WordPress CMS, website landing page design and email marketing platforms

· Applicants should endeavour to provide portfolio or evidence of past work (marketing communication and content samples)
