Project Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Will be the bridge between business, product owners and the core technology teams to define the project charter, activities, plan
  • Responsible for defining the project timeline, roadmap and the release plan as approved with the business users
  • Provide project management support for core products (Lending Solution, Web & App for Customers, CRM, Data Lake)
  • Defining and tracking the project activities across multiple phases / sprints
  • Defining and tracking the project deliverables
  • Co-ordinate the sign-offs for BRDs, SIT and UAT test cases
  • Work with development team for the production release schedule and version control
  • Track the project budget across the project phases
  • Build and manage capacity models / resourcing loading and forecasting
  • Work with the vendors and finance team for the expense management, expense forecasting
  • Track and report the project related issues / defects / risks
  • Manage the post implementation reviews
  • Provide weekly / monthly status report for the projects
  • Maintain repository of all project related documents (MSA, BRD, FSD, Test cases, Test execution report, Issue / risk log and Weekly updates)
  • Work with the regional and local team to define the roadmap for enhancements and next releases
  • Work with local and regional technology team to provide the status

Job Requirements

  • Has extensive and relevant (min 3 years) experience in FinTech, financial services industry or known Start-ups, in the similar role
  • Decent project management experience in the relevant areas (transactional solutions, workflow, Web / apps, CRM, data lake)
  • Hands-on on agile tools – Jira, Confluence, etc
  • Complete understanding of the project management lifecycle
  • Highly analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Very good inter-personal and collaboration skills

Investor Relations – Operations Analyst

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact of the team to Validus’s incumbent Institutional Investor base
  • Oversee institutional client growth
  • Grow our institutional client base, and foster institutional client relationships to drive the development of client investment mandates through a strong understanding of Validus investment products and focus areas, as well as client requirements
  • Work both independently and with team members to ensure that loans on the platform are funded in accordance with investment mandates
  • Liaise across functional teams for onboarding of new clients, performing reporting requirements, and facilitating ongoing due diligence efforts
  • Guide the investor relations departmental operational efforts for existing clients, including but not limited to
  • Development of reporting and analytics dashboards in conjunction with technology, data, and finance teams
  • Play a key role in coordinating ongoing investor assessment exercises and compliance checks
  • Manage allocation of mandated funds per client direction, ensuring that investment bookings are properly executed, while strictly adhering to regulatory and Company standards
  • Assist the Head of Investor Relations as well as the Relationship Managers in internal reporting and metrics analyses
  • Drive ongoing enhancement efforts
  • Manage and enhance the investor portfolio dashboards both for client reporting needs and for aggregate portfolio analytics and review
  • Translate client feedback into contributions to drive technology projects focused on continuous enhancement of processes and innovation on the platform
  • Further enhance performance tracking and signals management

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with finance focus required
  • 1-3 years of experience, preferably at an investment bank or within financial services
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, corporate finance, and regulatory best practices
  • Attention to detail and highly organised
  • Effective team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, able to pick up on non-core focus concepts and work across teams to achieve goals with efficiency and best
  • Able to independently handle communications and reporting requests with institutional clients

  • The work spans research, selection, introduction, development, and maintenance of relevant security components and solutions
  • Highlight vulnerabilities and incidents from local and global compliance reports and ensure compliance proactively
  • Support in capacity planning and forecast demands to the management

Job Requirements

  • Have a strong understanding of the organization’s infrastructure, security plans, and policies
  • Overall responsible for providing security-related solutions for threats, intrusion detection, and prevention
  • Implement various cybersecurity tools for detection, prevention, and analysis of security threats, including all web security and cloud security frameworks
  • Provide a framework for effective service management across the enterprise, example service tickets for IT-related services
  • Hands-on experience using IT Security Infrastructure tools and Service management tools (like JIRA, Confluence)
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Financial Services Industry preferred but not mandatory
  • CISSP or relevant certificate in info security and cyber-security preferred

Operations Specialist

Job Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end loan transactions, including and not limited to loan disbursement, documentation handling (checks, preparation and safekeeping), static data updates, repayment, refund, follow-up with internal and external stakeholders, etc
  • Participate in general operations processing functions and other adhoc tasks where required
  • Ensure timely and prompt processing as per committed SLA
  • Ensure processes and controls adheres to guidelines (internal, regulatory, etc.)
  • Ensure timely and effective escalation of potential issues and resolution
  • Work closely with various internal and external stakeholders (Front Office, Compliance, Credit, etc.) to complete required processing and resolve issues arising
  • Answer queries on operational processes
  • Participate in process reviews (including mapping of processes) and system enhancements (requirements gathering, testing, etc.)
  • Create and maintain operations procedures

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma holder
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in operations or credit role
  • Effective team player with good interpersonal and communication skills. Able to articulate your thoughts clearly
  • Structured & systematic orientation with strong attention to detail
  • Meticulous in their work and possess problem-solving skills
  • Results and service oriented; able to work independently, sometimes under pressure
  • Good analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Prior experience in process reviews and client on-boarding experience is an added advantage
